Variance, Acappella team for 'Addiction'

Variance Films has joined with Acappella Pictures for that theatrical discharge of Charles Evans Junior.'s documentary "Addiction Incorporated." Film will open in NY City on 12 ,. 14 as well as in La on Jan. 13, then expand through the country through early 2012. "Addiction" focuses on whistleblower Victor DeNoble, an investigation researcher at one of the main tobacco companies, where he was assigned with finding an alternative to nicotine that will not cause cardiac arrest. DeNoble been successful but along the way created scientific evidence that nicotine was addictive. After his lab was shuttered and the papers drawn from publication, DeNoble claimed about his research within the 1994 congressional proceedings, resulting in federal regulating the tobacco industry.
